Le Metro

The metro in Paris is a thing of beauty.  It gets you from A to B and then on to C, D, E and F if you want, then back to A.

Herewith a tiny portion of the Metro map.  It's vast, colourful and very easy to understand when you take the time to decipher the 'code'. 

All you need to know is your destination and your starting point, and understand that you may need to change lines more than once along the way, but it's such fun working out possible routes.

Oh and beware the pitfall of getting on the right train but going in the wrong direction !!  As soon as the penny drops, simply get off at the next station and get yourself to the opposite platform.  There is no extra charge.  You can experience all the fun and frustration for the paltry sum of 2.5euro.
