Medieval Microwave

On my way to a Digital Detox in the Black Mountains in the south east corner of the Bannau Brycheiniog I stopped off at Raglan Castle as I had time in hand before I had access to my accommodation. 
An interesting wander around while my EV recharged so that I had a full battery once again.
This was part of an objectc labelled as a snack warmer, 3 of these devices around a circular plate to heat up food. I think a microwave would have been quicker, had they had electricity of course!
Then, late at night, once at my base took advantage of the dark skies to practice some star (and Pliades meteor) shots.see extra.

Posted late as my Digital Detox was due to no mobile signal, no broadband, no TV at my holiday base.
