Beauty is all around us.

Sunshine on orange Calendula in the garden.

The Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time in the Church Calendar.

Today is marvellously sunny and warm.
It is nearly 12:55 and 22c in the living room and 84f in the conservatory.

Earlier, I attended the 9am Holy Eucharistic Mass at our Parish Church.

The Father and pilgrims have safely returned from the Walsingham Annual Youth Pilgrimage.

Paul has gone to visit Greg and family, my son who is 37 years old.

Sadly, on Blackburn Road beside the Parish Church a man has died in his old house. Peace to his soul and prayers for all his loved ones. I did not know him, but the man is described as having been a technical drawing teacher when he worked. There were police and a fire engine outside what was long ago, the Parish Church Rectory. The Victorian style detached property is said to be in a structurally dangerous condition. I must admit, I used to be somewhat afraid of the way the old house looked uncared for and vegetation and bluebells grew wild along the front garden path in Spring. He was said to have been a recluse in his present life.

I hope to water the flowerpots before Songs of Praise.
Take care blip friends and enjoy today.
