Volcano on fire

Any plans I had for a photo today were overtaken by the gorse fire on Arthur’s Seat, the extinct volcano in the centre of Edinburgh.

As I post, the fire is still burning with bursts of flame fanned by the wind.

A helicopter is flying above but as yet no water drops but I can see firemen on the hill monitoring.
