Surprise visit

Early walk already warm, probably low 20s. Daughter messaged to say the little one when asked what he wanted to do today said Nanny Grandys and park. So ten thirty they turned up. He went straight out to the garden and helped with some jobs while I made coffee and we had a good catch up. Light lunch and then SiL went home and we walked to the park. We walked past the fruit shop and he asked for cherries, so we then headed for the shade in the park to eat cherries.
We then had ice cream and headed to there house.
He was very keen to show us how he gets into the paddling pool.
Back home for coffee and then cook dinner. Ironing didn’t get done so that’s the next job this evening. It’s been a lovely day, he is a joy to be with.
