So hot
Don’t know how we managed to run this morning is was 20c, shouldn’t really have gone but didn’t feel that it was that hot when I went out earlier with Hetty.
Hubby was preparing for some outside painting at the side of the house so I did some gardening. Hetty was in the garden most of the day and as it was very hot when I popped out to the shops I decided to not take her out until this evening. However she had other ideas when a cat appeared on the fence and she again got through to next doors garden and disappeared. Having searched the three gardens she could get into hubby went through overgrown area at the back of the gardens up to the old railway path. Some one had very kindly got hold of her collar and was waiting when hubby got there. He phoned me and I ran round to meet them as he was full of cuts and scratches from clambering up there and didn’t take her lead.
We have no idea where the gap is as our garden has alway been secure but there must be some fencing missing in the hedge and we can’t find it, she will not be allowed out unsupervised until we do.
The blip is a drinking fountain I discovered in the park last year and was hidden by lots of bushes, now very visible as the gardeners have done a great job clearing the area.
