Hackney Marshes parkrun

Hackney Marshes parkrun is a one-lap there-and-back course on grass around a playing field and on tarmac paths through tree lined avenues. A flat course and with the dry ground perfect running conditions.  Once we settled into a steady pace, I ran alongside a lady who I later discovered was running her 3rd parkrun. I am over 300  so very different ... nevertheless, we both motivated each other. 

After the run I chatted to several folk, before walking over the river Lea (blip) to a great Mediterranean cafe for a tasty breakfast.  

Gig Rowing was cancelled so we took our time coming home. Then a lovely relaxing time in the garden knitting and listening to my Borrowbox book.
