On Air
Listening to music and podcasts in the garden.
When I put the brolly up first thing there were quite a few Moths lurking there, Large Yellow Underwings I think but I'm sure Diane2104 or some other keen Lepidoptotrist will confirm, please?
Later I took my lunch into the garden and found a wasp munching on one of the Moths, after which it continued its quest to find more and killed another one. It was a horrible sight and ruined my lunch. Glad to say with help from me, the rest of the Moths escaped.
An episode of 'The Stettons': Shropshire Hills Shipping Forecast was one of the podcasts I listened to and from the credits appeared to have been written by a Niece of mine - later comfirmed by a telephone conversation with her Mother, my SIL! It was brilliant, a great take on the iconic BBC shipping Forecast but this one related to all things connected to Church Stretton, its surrounding areas and the wonderful Shropshire Hills. The Gliding Club, Gliding, sheep, the wild ponies and much more were very familiar, of course.
