Sunday ...

... Funday.

After yesterday's sad day today was much better.  No birds flew into any of our windows and Richard is working on a solution so that it won't happen again.  Most of our larger windows have a system that Richard put up years ago to prevent the birds from striking them ... except the one that was hit yesterday.  And now this one will too.  There's no guarantee it won't ever happen but it minimizes the risk.

I spent most of the morning either sitting outside on the back deck or inside the sunroom photographing the birds ... mostly the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.  I've added a photo into Extras if you'd like to have a look.

And then after lunch we headed out for our walk.  We went to the Palmer Bikeway and enjoyed it very much.  We walked a different section than normal and it was really nice.  From there we stopped at our favorite Waterfowl Observation site to photograph the ducks and geese.  This is a juvenile Wood Duck stretching his wings.  We then stopped at Walmart before returning home.
