For my record

9 years ago we were expecting our eighth grandchild. I was thinking it was going to be a girl but no Elijah is not. So I have been waiting for the right newborn to give it to. I’m packing this off to my niece in Queensland where the weather is warm.

We purchased it on Norfolk Island. The cows run free and have right of way even taking up car parking spots in the shopping precinct so they are featured on many of the things tourists buy. The ball and chain harks back to the convict days where some of the bad convicts were sent. Their conditions were harsh. It’s a wonder any survived.

I had an easier day. Bit of gardening, walk to the library (2 books) and charity shop (4 books), and washing. Tomorrow is busy and on Wednesday we are going away for a couple of days.
