Going up!

Hot hot today! Jude wasn’t too keen on getting up but Grace got her up before she left for technical rehearsals in Bristol.

Once the girls had had breakfast we took them and their bikes to Alice Park. The redeveloped bit is still not open unfortunately but they seem to have finished all the fencing now. After a cycle and a swing Eda headed into the trees which I was quite happy to do too for the shade. She loves to climb. I must admit she got rather higher than I was comfortable with but she got back down without a problem thankfully.

We went to the cafe for coffee and ice creams and then a bit more play before returning for lunch. We didn’t stay for a picnic as arrangements had been made for Eda’s friend to visit this afternoon.

It’s turned a bit hazy now but it’s still very warm.
