Hiking with Old Pals

A cloudy start to the day, but soon cleared into a sunny day and evening, highs of 19⁰c.  Breezy most of the day, flat calm tonight.

Monday morning arrived, a day working on my own.  I delivered a couple of wheelie bins down the south mainland, then weeding around Hardbrakes, Boddam.  Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's.  Sammy has been super happy today, yesterday's mini adventure has done him the world of good.  Met old friends for a hike this evening.  Now for a cuppa and feet up.

Always great to meet old pals, especially the ones where you pick up from last time.  Me and Tam been pals since nappy days, 44 years, and Keith about 32 years.  We hiked over the hills to the Loch, down to the mills, then along the cliffs.  Keith brought golf clubs, whacking the golf balls on our way back to the car.  A great catchup, and some reminiscing on our younger days.  Tam's up on holiday with the family, from Wales.  Me, Keith, Tam and Ruth (Tam's wife), at the old mills, Mill Burn, Fladdabister.

See if you can spot Tam and Keith in the cliff extra.
