Fibonacci

This sunflower has self-seeded in one of our flowerpots. It’s just opening and showing a beautiful set of Fibonacci sequences. I often wonder why none of my former maths teachers has bothered to show us something as pleasing as this, or even mention Fibonacci - but no, mathematics obviously had to be taught as abstractly and boringly as possible.

Anyway: Hot day, little achieved, but at least my mother’s carer’s agency has responded to my very serious threat of canceling our contract - by suddenly finding a carer who speaks enough German. Now my mother will have someone to talk to when E is on holiday. 

Why some people only do their jobs well under pressure, I‘ll never understand.
