Second Blush

Yesterday Andy’s son arrived by train from Edinburgh. We spent the evening having dinner and catching up.

Today I’ve been volunteering at Tuppenny Barn. It was 29 degrees so we were feeling rather warm as we weeded and planted out brassicas and pak choi. It was an enjoyable morning but I was happy to return home to eat lunch and cool down.

This evening ‘the boys’ have gone to see the football in Portsmouth so Merlin and I are relaxing before we go for an evening walk around the village. Earlier I did my tai chi class.

This rose is on the patio in a pot and is flowering for the second time this summer.
