From the Porch

A lifetime first for me, making cement at altitude.   Although, on top of the roof, the height went unrecorded.  There was no sign of a trig point either, for reference.   After securing the roof ridge l prepared CMC 's bike for her go round the circuit.  The gang of lassies returned mid-morning after an overnight stay in the Bolt Hole.  I cleaned the Bothy and prepped for Friday then dealt with Hoy Kirk business for next week's AGM.

Creel HQ Fun Entertainments Inc has issued the following statement after last month’s Creel HQ Quiz stushie:  The correct answer to Question 3 was ‘Mother Terresa’ and not ‘Dr Crippen’.  Apologies to anyone in Worksop.  It's all over, there will be no rollover in Bolsover or Dover.
