old yew

had a walk around the gardens after finishing work today. I was photographing  the trees as a couple of other volunteers I was having lunch with were talking about a tree walk that they're developing there. There are lots of interesting trees on the site but I think this is the oldest one. A yew thats about 450 years old and was once part of a tudor hedge. I've never noticed the pine cones in. there before.
