I Witness

Wild Wednesday ...

... Not quite full.

Our photography day started very early this morning as I wanted to try for some photos of the Perseid meteor showers.  That didn't pan out so well as there was some cloud cover and we didn't actually see any.  My camera was giving me fits not wanting to focus properly so maybe it was better that we didn't see any meteors.  We were out there for about an hour so we gave it our best shot.

I wanted to make the most of our time standing around in the middle of the night ... in the dark.  So I took some moon shots ... including this one taken at about 12:40 am.  We packed everything up and headed home ... arriving back home shortly after 1:00 am.  I wish it would have been a more fruitful night but I'm pleased with this moon photo ... even though it was partially covered by the clouds.

In other news ... we got out early again for our walk as today will be another hot and humid one.   Housenick Memorial park was our destination again as it's close by and we wanted to go the Wegman's (grocery store) afterwards.  I've added into Extras a photo of a young white-tailed deer fawn that we saw during our walk.
