The interval…

An excellent performance of A Comedy of Errors at St John’s College gardens this evening. Some picnics continued and some folk took a stroll. Always the start of a beautiful sunset at this time when we’ve visited each year. About 8.30.
The performance was manic ( hilarious) but we kept up… having read the storyline beforehand.


Earlier today we took the girls to visit D’s sister. My extra. We phoned first and she actually said yes to our visit. She’s missing Ron her husband of almost 60 years who died in December. They’d lived a pretty reclusive life since he retired 37 years ago. The girls were fantastic and although we only stayed less than an hour, as we left Pam said they’d made her day. I know D was very chuffed to see her today.

Oliver is safely home. Happiness all round I think!
