I was taking advantage of the long dry spell to re-oil Big George, and the nicely dry wood was soaking the oil up very nicely.

Then, for probably the one hour in a fortnight of blistering heat, it decided to drizzle.

Getting the oil on was enough to stop damp penetration, but it seemed some extra protection was appropriate for the rest of the day...
