To splash or not to splash

The difference in our dogs … It was a hot hot day so I knew that Mabel, who doesn’t often choose to get wet, would welcome a chance to lie down and cool down. Meanwhile Billie charges backwards and forwards and when her splashes are intruding on Mabel’s peace, she closes her eyes and looks away. They are both lovely.

I decided not to go into work. I sorted several wash loads, did some admin and watered a parched garden. I’m surprised we haven’t had a hose pipe ban.

Met JenSky mid afternoon for a wander around Capel Manor and a catch up too. That’s was lovely to do.

I also filled out an application for a job, a small but bigger job, closer to home. We’ll see.
