Newlands Valley in early evening sunshine
The viewing went well this morning. It’s a project that has great scope. A large south facing garden which has room for greenhouse, studio, pond and shed and room for extending.
News from the two houses in Kent was mixed. The person buying ours had a survey which showed mostly minor defects which you might expect in a house over 50 years old. They think it merits a reduction in price. Our estate agent and ourselves don’t think it does. We will consider our response.
Progress on Doreen’s house depends on a deed of variation on our purchasers property. The fees shave been paid and it seems it will take a week to get signatures. Then we should be ready to exchange, fingers crossed.
We had a walk with the tourists in Keswick this afternoon which I found enjoyable. From Crossthwaite to the lake and beyond and back then catching up with friends Adam and Jane at the Swinside Inn for a pint and catch up.
Today’s blip was taken just up the road from the Inn
