Snazzy

We had a visit today from one of our nephews and his girlfriend. We’ve not seen him for a few years and we’d never met her. They make a charming couple and it was great to catch up. His taste in socks is eye-catching!

They’ve spent the past week in the Trossachs - same venue as we stayed in the other week - but they did much more of the tourist activities as they don’t know the area very well. Trips to Oban, Glencoe,, Loch Lomond and Lake of Menteith ( the only lake in Scotland). In superb and very rare weather.

It was another lovely warm sunny day here, with a bit of a breeze. It meant we could have lunch outside and hear about their 3 month trip to South America at the end of last year.

They then headed off to experience Edinburgh at festival time and take in a few fringe shows before catching up with friends.

After a tidy up I popped down to church to collect some papers, collected a prescription, had a video call in preparation for the office flower show in a fortnight’s time, then dozed in front of the TV.

A good day.
