Some days it's 2 o'clock already.
Where does morning go?

It does have a habit of disappearing
before we've even noticed it.

Maybe it's got fed up with being ignored
and decided not to visit us any more.

Fair enough.
It's far from our favourite time of day.

We always give afternoon a warm welcome
and we love early evening.

When we invite night to stay the night
we're grateful that it does.

But, to be honest, morning
we can live without.

When we miss it we don't miss it
if you know what I mean?

Though I am a little concerned
that whole days will start departing soon.
