Holly and Paul collage.
The Feast of Mother Mary's Assumption.
The Assumption of Mary is not easy to explain in human terms. Much has been written about it. I found reading what Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich received in her inner visions, was very inspiring and mystical.
It is a Feast of joy and celebration because Mary was received in Heaven.
It is a lovely sunny Friday with a gentle breeze.
24.6c in the living room. 80f in the conservatory. Sweltering.
Holly our Tabby cat went to sit in the greenhouse for a while. She has been very active and likes going outside from the front window. She is fascinated by butterflies and all insects.
I went down to the pharmacy to collect my blood pressure prescription and then to Nisa to buy an Accrington Observer.
The deliverer brought my new long checked dress from Edinburgh Mill. It is cotton and was in their sale
I watered the garden before listening to a Holy Mass from St Marie's Cathedral. Then the Holy Rosary before lunch.
The neighbourhood is blessed with many butterflies and a small Speckled Wood settled on my skirt. I felt delighted.
I am just so tired in the warm close weather. I find it is worthwhile getting on with the housework, but I will do the vacuuming tomorrow.
Now I am watching Father Brown and later Escape to the Country.
Have a lovely Friday and thank you for dropping by blip friends.
