The Feast Day of Saint Roch.(Rocco).
Born 1295, Montpellier, France.
Died 16th August 1327.
Patron saint of sufferers of plague, bachelors, dogs, and pilgrims and a few other issues or causes.

A popular Saint of the Middle Ages although there are uncertainties about whether Roch really lived. He cured plague victims it is recorded, by making the Sign of the Cross over them.

It is 22c in the living room and nearly 80f in the conservatory. Very sunny and with the blessing of a breeze. Some housework has been completed and still some to do.

I have done vacuuming and some washing that could dry on the washing line.

I bought Saturday Mail and took the Garden News publication to my friend who enjoys the many interesting and informative articles about plants and successful gardening.
