Token shot

Apologies redone this as I realised I’d uploaded the wrong shot :-/

Another warm one :-)

Today is the first day of the week that I can please myself……. a little lie in, leisurely shower & hair, before watering my window boxes & basket, they have suffered sadly as a result of my longer stay in Lincoln last week :-(

By 11.30 I was feeling peckish so decided on a little jaunt into Rammy for brunch ;-)
Large latte with an extra shot, large glass of iced water & my usual treat, a bacon barm with brown sauce, very yummy indeed :-))

The steam trains are running regularly during the school hols but by the time I was ready to leave, the next train due on the platform was a diesel, the steamer wasn’t due for another hour!

I got up onto the bridge to take this shot as it was passing over the level crossing, if you look closely you can see the engine driver & signalman exchanging the hoops, or as I now know, the “token” which is used for safety on single track lines ;-) Get me lol

Currently bidding my time at home until it cools a little & the traffic has quietened down, before setting off for C’s for the weekend :-)
