It's a wet start to
Friday - now where do I go? 
It must be the park!

I was late rising. It was almost 7 when I pushed the bins out to the street for collection and made my getaway. I'm never very enthusiastic when it's raining and grey. It was definitely a soggy start. 

I drove into McArthur Island Park at the north entrance. That was my good fortune as everything I blip today came from that location. 

I found a chorus line of Canada geese in the slough. There is so much algae there it looked grass they were about to step off. I missed their takeoff when they were suddenly disturbed. 

While focused on the geese, I discovered five does grazing along the far bank below the roadway. They were silent and invisible to most passersby. I've filled my collage from one location. 

I'm home today and I have no idea what I will be doing. There's always housework! 

Meanwhile, in Alaska, the big orange 'jobby' (as the Scots so aptly dubbed him) is pretending to be having peace talks. God help us all!!
