VJ Day

As I continue to jump backwards and forwards (thank you for your everything for my Lisbon shots) I thought it'd be appropriate to post this on the actual day (that's the idea of Blip, I hear you cry!). Spotted this tea towel on my tiny walk round the block this morning, and went back to Blip it on my way home. Clearly the tea towel stuck to their door by some neighbours is 30 years old, as we now celebrate 80 years since VJ day and the end of WW2.

They are anolder couple so will remember the event from their childhood. Maybe one of their fathers or uncles was out there?
