Mid-Michigan Tractor Show...Waiting Her Turn

I hate to tell this story, but I had a Friday decision to make. Should I go to watch the Senior PGA tournament, or to the tractor show?

I chose the golf tournament, getting there at 9:45 to catch a shuttle bus to the course for the 10:45 start. The problem? Not a bus in sight. I even flagged down a security guy in his truck to ask for details. Exasperated, I finally opened my phone to look at my ticket. IT IS FOR THE 22nd!, NOT FOR THE 15th! Oh my, quite a senior moment.

So, I headed for the tractor show, getting there 3 hours later than I have in the past. It was very hot without much shade, but it is a HUGE show with a lot to see. For my 10 dollar entry fee, I got several good photo keepers, and with 4 trips to my van...came home with 12 pieces of wood from the sawmill pavilion to paint on.

After seeing row after row of tractors, and watching some tractor-pulling, the heat got to me and I returned home...not wanting to tell Lisa the story.

Now, next week's golf tournament is in jeopardy. My first cataract surgery is on the 21st, and I have to be seen on the 22nd, too. Maybe no golf.
