Merrick and the Mustang

Yesterday it was hundreds (or thousands) of tractors, and today it was hundreds (or thousands) of cars. 

It was Back to the Bricks, the biggest car show in this area. Why the bricks? Saginaw St. is not paved with asphalt or concrete...it is paved with bricks. Grandson Merrick and his friend B went with me, and I convinced them to get up early to beat the heat. We got there at 9:30, walked for 2 hours, then called it good. LOTS OF CARS.

The breakdown:

Linch for the 3 of us at Chik-Fil-A... $32.50
Time spent with my grandson...Priceless.

The little man does like his Mustangs.

P.S. My favorite car of the morning is in Extras. A very early baby blue Corvette. Notice the bricks in the Extras shot.
