Number147

Saturday

Louise had her grandson, Luca, today. Lucy, who, like Jen, cannot resist a baby, spent the morning in Chippenham with them.

The plan was to stop here on the way to Lucy's this afternoon. Luca was fast asleep on arrival and Louise was very reluctant to disturb him. Almost anxious about it.

They decided to say hello, as they were passing, and carry on. However, Luca opened his eyes, spotted Hetty and was desperate to get out of the car.

Then Louise was worried the car seat wasn't properly set.

I was up very early, despite my over indulgence last night. Again, Hetty and I avoided the heat with an early walk.

We called in on Violet and arranged a walk for Tuesday.

(Not that she'll remember.)

I assisted Clive with his latest construction project and did some gardening. Not nearly as hot as the forecast.

Florence sent a video of the Mona Lisa. Hilarious because she got nowhere near the painting.

Two of my brothers have lived in Paris. No crowd around the ML in 1982!
