Butterflies

A bit of an EB today as what I intended to blip (more mods on project guitar) did not work out as planned.
But there have been at least half a dozen butterflies (mainly Small Tortoiseshells like these) at any one time on the Buddleia today, so I reckoned a quick snap of that would do the trick.
Except….as soon as I approached, camera at the ready, they all buggered off into the wild blue yonder. Eventually, some of them returned but the biggest number I could get in one photo was two! Oh well, at least it proves that cutting back the Buddleia and removing the dead flowers, in the hope it would encourage the butterflies to return, was the right decision.
