Hungry Like The Wolf
We were up and about at silly o’clock this morning in order to do a car boot sale. Went to the A6 site as this is always busy and we usually shift a decent amount of stuff. Today turned out to be no different. Moneywise, not much to show for six hours work, but we took home two empty boxes so must have shifted something. Maybe our policy of only charging 50p or £1 was to blame for lack of profits! It was a lovely morning, not a cloud in the sky. Temperatures ranged from quite chilly, when we arrived, to sweltering by the time we packed up.
Rather than another picture of our car with a pile of tat - sorry, valuable collectors items - on a table in front of it, I thought I’d use one of this fine fellow, who passed by our stall. According to his owner, Pablo is pure wolf, rather than the hybrids that are usually bred in the U.K. He was only young and seemed a bit of a handful, though not in an aggressive way. More skittish really, and definitely didn’t like loud noises. Perhaps the owner was trying to get him used to crowded situations, given that wolves are normally quite solitary animals who would avoid human contact.
After unloading the car, we popped into town for a coffee and a bit of food shopping. Then came home and crashed out for a few hours! I suspect we will not be staying up late tonight…
