Reflection
After the last two very busy days, a quiet one. We both caught up with various bits and pieces, including - for me - a bit more mural-collecting.
This one is tucked away on a back street beside the River Sheaf. I'd spotted it the other day, but it was caught between bright sunlight and deep shade, making it hard to capture well. Today's overcast weather has been better, for mural photo purposes.
On the way there and back, in the car, I listened to reports of yesterday's Trump/Putin love-in on a BBC Radio Four podcast. Two elderly dictators, flattering each other - ugh. Putin must have been well-pleased with the outcome, especially as I see from today's news reports that Trump is pulling back from any idea of pushing for the ceasefire that Ukraine and European countries want. I imagine that he'll now try to force Zelensky into a deeply unfavourable 'peace' deal.
