Just Joey

My beloved Just Joey rose in the front garden is into its second flush. 

Over the summer I’ve kept a jug in the kitchen into which I’ve saved any water from the kitchen tap or the kettle that might otherwise have been poured down the sink, and have been regularly emptying the jug onto the soil round the base of this rose. It feels as though it’s saying thank you to me now!
