Another slow day

I'm surprised how knocked back I am by this shingles vaccination. It's the same for Jan, which is slightly reassuring, but otherwise unfortunate.
So, today was another very slow day, spent largely indoors looking out at the rain. Relatively late in the day the sun suddenly broke through and we got this beautiful light shining on the tree-tops and the distance forest. It was a lovely moment and it also provided me with a photo for blip!
A couple of hours later, at about 10 o'clock, it finally felt late enough to reasonably go to bed, still feeling rather dodgy.
(Since I'm posting a day later I can cheat a little and say that I woke up the next morning, after 10 hours asleep, feeling fine!)
