Weather stopped play
I had a good and long night's sleep and woke up feeling fine.
Outside there was quite a storm blowing by, with trees waving dramatically and squalls of rain blasting by. It feels quite unusual to get this sort of storm in a Swedish summer. It has also been fairly chilly, around 14°C. All this means I once again spent most of the day inside. Happily it did enable a fair amount of sorting out in the house.
Things dried out a little just after lunch and I rushed out to harvest some raspberries. They are largely ripe now and if I leave them too long they'll be well past their best. I managed to get half of the canes picked before the rain returned.
So, here they are, or at least here is the top layer of raspberries, nestled in the freezer, next to Jan's bread. I freeze them in layers like this because you end up with a bunch of frozen individual raspberries, rather than a frozen raspberry lump. Tomorrow I'll empty them into a suitably sized box, probably an ex-ice-cream box, like the one at bottom right of the picture.
Summing up the day; a good day because I'm once again healthy, even if the weather made the outside rather unattractive.
