Newtongrange

This morning I had a meeting with colleagues, so I went into work for 09:30. I cycled in because at the end of the day И was visiting a house for sale in Newtongrange, and I liked the idea of the three bike rides: into work, to Newtongrange, and back home. 

After the meeting, I had a good day working with И, PhD students Y and B, and our intern, before cycling out to Newtongrange with И and her boyfriend (A). It was fun, if rather warm. Fortunately we had time to cool off whilst walking through the park and beyond to the house. We spent a long time there, but И found things not to like about it and Newtongrange. Taking them on a brief tour of the town, we met up with Turfer MuttsCycles, who was able to give them first-hand opinion on living in the town. Perhaps he was overly-honest about the amount of bike theft in Newtongrange - he runs a bike shop...

I left И and A to enjoy a drink at the pub, and cycled home on an increasingly familiar route along the old railway. Django didn't get a particularly long walk, but the light was pretty
