First day morning walk

Took hound for an early morning walk along the prom.  Very few holidaymakers up only other dog walkers and joggers.

The blip is the brief walk no more than two minutes away from our house.   The path slopes towards steps that lead to the east side of the prom.

Simon the foreman and strapping Australian Jesse arrive just before 10am.  They finished unloading.  Simon's team have done more than pack, load, and transport.  They've fixed a bookcase, mended the wobbly leg on our kitchen table and plumbed our washing machine.   If I attempted to do anything someone was there to move or lift.  The team were all incredible, courteous, calm, considerate and interesting to talk to.  It was a real pleasure to meet them and they were interested in us: my former beekeeping, photography, dogs.  And they all made a fuss of Kyro which was frustrating for him as he wanted more of their attention when he had to be shut in a room with front and back doors open.

I managed to unpack some boxes and put items away in kitchen cupboards and give back some of the empty boxes.  We were left surrounded by boxes.

Another tiring day.  Dinner was baked potatoes, baked beans and cheese.  Another early night.
