Ella and her Grandad

An afternoon where the party went different ways - two climbed High Cup Nick (see extra) and returned the hard way down the scree (nine miles); four went to the football in Carlisle and one (me) stayed at home to look after Hazel (see extra).

Eventually everyone returned home and, eventually, everyone helped to put together a buffet made of leftovers from the barbecue plus an excellent M&S selection. A super spread eaten outside, where we sat until late chatting.

My blip had to be a photo of Ella, taken by her Aunt at the match. This was her first football match, her grandad bought her a cap and they met up by chance with cousins and second cousins. Greg got her name called out on the local radio - her sisters were very impressed/ not at all impressed.

A good day. They all set off for home tomorrow.
