Wild Life

Here, on the upper part of town we have plenty of birds. I see the blackbirds hopping around the gardens, but difficult to capture! Then there are the crows, but most of all, I like the doves.

I was lucky enough to capture this dove perched high on the weeping Birch tree in front of my building. I watched him preening himself and then he sat very still and that was my moment! This was taken at 6:45 am just as I was returning from my early morning walk.

Now I’m going to catch a bus to go down to the lake and enjoy the cooler part of the day before the heat builds up. It’s only 7:30 am.
