and again

Well I just couldn't get up that early two days in a row - but we were at the sea front by 8.45 and strolled for the next 40 minutes or so.  It always surprises me just how many people are here at this hour - so many swimming and even more sitting about chatting. It's actually a very sensible strategy, but not being a morning person, it's not really an option for me except on rare occasions.

The rest of my day - well, the workmen came and finished tiling the craftroom balcony so Rufus and I had to stay in my bedroom until they'd finished late afternoon (see yesterday). 

There followed the usual daily grocery run (I prefer to buy just what I need on a daily basis as there are 3 grocery stores within a 5 min walk), a little swim time early evening, something to eat from what was available in the fridge, and a woofer walk round the block at 21.30.  The rest of the evening was spent writing - a couple of new ideas are evolving.
