Blue on Blue
Another lovely festival day in the village.
Took Tim and Adele to see the classic car display in the cricket ground. Last year l made a red collage for blip - so it’s a blue one this year. If you like Land Rovers and other car stuff you might to care to look at extras, which l am adding temporarily. The final extra is a mini version of one of the classic cars that the owner had made from wood.
We then went to the food festival, the craft show and the vintage fair. Came home to pack some cold drinks and nibbles. We then took chairs, a small folding table and a picnic rug to the park to join other villagers listening to The Anchor Band who play music from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Not my first choice of music but the atmosphere is great. Rebecca, Verity and Kitty came to join us and we had both dogs who behaved well. Mike was at Old Trafford, ( he’s a perfect son in law otherwise!).
Then late afternoon all back to mine for more food which l enjoyed preparing. Ruby and her boyfriend had flown back from holiday and landed early afternoon so they came to eat with us too. We could eat outside and enjoy the weather.
All have gone home now and l’ve just loaded the dishwasher for the second time, so putting my feet up now. Family Day
