Gorgeous trek up in the Slieve Bloom mountains. Perfect warm day with light breeze , it was still very hot for the horses as they worked hard to get us up the hills at a fair old pace. The cool river was perfect end to the ride. I rode a 4 yr old who was very green and unsteady in tricky places but such a good boy, it was his first trek out , first time in the river …. Found this all after the ride !
House is hectic getting camper ready for 2 1/2 weeks holiday coming up and house/ dog sitter arriving tomorrow. Still found time for dog walk and catch up with Liz and talk through recent events (more to come soon) .
