Burnt

Today I:
started the day with a video call with #1 son,
was in and out of Sainsbury's and home before 10,
weeded, sorted the compost, potted up the rescued clematis,
sat in the sun under a cloudless blue sky, snoozing and seeing for 4 hours, topping up the tan. Seemed very much warmer then 21 deg,
watered plants, back and front,
caught with Y and J and drank gin in Y's garden,
finished ep 2 of one of the French flic series In watching, 
picked S up at the airport, in be the dark, and talked till nearly midnight.

The Hill looks very scorched still but hopefully will regenerate soon.
