The Mountain

What an awesome day. It did take a good three+hours in each direction to drive to the Paradise Inn, but well worth it. Hadn't been to the Paradise side for about 27 years, and only once during that time to Sunrise. We (the four of us plus sister K) hiked for a few hours on the Skyline trail. The kids were soon far ahead and above us. W did a longer loop than anyone, apparently burning more calories during that time than on any full day previously this year. I can believe it! K kindly stayed with me, and I did make it to the glacier lookout but knees were hurting.
