Towards the end

R went to meet M in Tunbridge Wells, which was unplanned but a good chance for them to catch up. I took R to Battle station so that I could have use of the car, for various reasons, including a trip to get some food supplies.
When R returned we walked down to Henners where we met N&K and their friends from Norfolk. Between us we bought the last two bottles of the Pinot Noir Rose that the vineyard bottled last year.

On the way out I took this photo of the vineyard as I liked the shadows.

We popped in at our house briefly for another glass of wine before they headed off to eat at N&K’s house.
