Farewell

After a day of chores and repairs we went to S&W’s house to say goodbye to J&S who leave on Tuesday for New Zealand. They say they will be back next year, as usual, but it’s more uncertain than before as S’s Mum is no longer alive and they have now sold her house where they used to stay.
We hadn’t been to S&W’s house before but it was lovely and they are keen gardeners, so have built this fireplace next to their seating area, which is interesting
They served up some excellent food, unsurprising as S is a professional cook.
