Lift

A Sunday afternoon walk on the moor with 20yo. We headed up Green Lane to Hope Gate, round the hill to the clinker boulders at Dobrudden and then back up and over the top, across the golf course and home.

I did a quick butterfly count at Dobrudden, expecting to find some Wall on the boulders, but just found Peacock (extra), Small Heath and Small White. 

As we dropped down to Plain Side we found a pair of paragliders looking for lift. They regularly use this spot.

Later, 17yo joined us and we had a first play of ‘The Worst Case Scenario Survival Game’ which has been a charity shop find a couple of weeks ago. 17yo proved the one to be with in a crisis.
