MONO MONDAY - MINIMALISM

Meaning : Minimalism is about intentionality, eliminating distractions, and making mindful choices. It promotes the value of experiences over material possessions, placing higher importance on meaningful items rather than those that merely occupy space.

When Mr. HCB grows crops like tomatoes he likes to try something new, so he made a "mindful choice" to buy this variety that was new to him named “Cream Sausage”! 

I thought that we should give his wonderful first “Cream Sausage” its 15 minutes of fame on Blip today - Mono Monday - and I have to say that the experience of tasting this small, 3 inch long, creamy yellow tomato was wonderful and we hope there will be many more.

Although these won’t last long because we will obviously eat them as they ripen, they will certainly be worth the space they occupy in Mr. HCB’s greenhouse.  He is really proud of this and rightly so - therefore, I decided to use his very first one as my subject for today, placing importance on this meaningful little tomato, which will soon be gone, to be followed by others, we hope.

It probably won’t win any accolades for Mono Monday, but I was taught that it wasn’t necessarily the winning, but the taking part that was important.
